Responsible for day-to-day operations of ag equipment company in Illinois. Will work with parts, service and sales teams. Requires demonstrated success in leading a team, solid agricultural background, excellent communication, business and problem solving skills. Experience in ag equipment and/or agronomy strongly preferred. AS or BS preferred.
Work with AgVance computer software program. Responsible for optimizing the tremendous potential of AgVance. Keep abreast of software updates, train and provide support for staff as they learn to take advantage of the full potential of AgVance. Requires agricultural background along with excellent computer/IT skills, success utilizing the many tools available within software programs. Prefer
Assist site manager with all facets of operations including operational, quality, cost and reliability initiatives. Play a vital leadership role in on-site safety programs, documentation and reporting. Work with seed receiving, cleaning and conditioning, treating and packaging seed, training and scheduling staff. Also coordinate and plan customer seed orders, inventory management, trade and compliance, shipping.
Operate a new 2022 JD sprayer, operate a self-contained computerized tender system. Will do pre and post spraying, covering approximately 25,000 acres a year. Will also help with irrigation and harvest.
